Mariah Carey and James Packer are heating up Asia.

The pop star and her billionaire boyfriend made a rare red carpet appearance together at the launch of his new, movie-themed casino in Macau. Carey and Packer cozied up to each other at the event, where they held hands while celebrating Studio City (the casino's cinematic name).

The "Emotions" crooner wore a black gown with a plunging neckline that featured crisscrossed ties over her décolletage. Her Australian beau stood beside her in a swanky black tuxedo. The last we saw these two looking so spiffy was when they stepped out in New York City at the end of September for a date night during which they grabbed a bite to eat at hotspot Nobu.

Just prior to that they had made their first-ever red carpet appearance at the Tribeca Film Institute's Annual Gala Benefit for the New York premiere of The Intern

"Before making an appearance on the carpet, the happy couple hugged and shared a kiss," an eyewitness told E! News at the time. "Soon after, the two sat with Robert in the theater and enjoyed the movie."

Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert DeNiro and Martin Scorsese were also in attendance for Packer's big night in Macao, the trio having collaborated on The Audition, a short film that promoted the new casino.

In The Audition clip, De Niro and DiCaprio are running lines by themselves, only to bump into one another and Scorsese, who breaks the news to them that they're both up for the same part in a casino-based film.

"It's more like you're vying for the same part," the Casino director says, clearing up that they're not technically "up" for it.

"May the best man win," De Niro tells DiCaprio. "You know, I don't even want to say it like that. May the best person for the part be the person who's in the part."
