There's nothing like having the support of your friends during a big event.

That must have been how Kristin Davis felt when Sarah Jessica Parker attended a film screening of her new documentary Gardeners of Eden in New York City Tuesday. Both Sex and the City alums looked gorgeous posing together for the cameras, but we wish that Kim Cattrall and Cynthia Nixon could have been there, too.

Certainly with half of the women there it seems like it could be simple enough to get the other two for a full-blown reunion! Davis even told E! News exclusively that they are all interested! "I think we'd all like to do it again," Davis told E!'s Marc Malkin. "We want to do it!"

Those comments only furthered the frenzy that she and SJP had started last fall, when they tweeted each other messages that potentially referred to a third installment.

Davis posted a photo of her and SJP with the message, "@SJP Miss YOU XOXOXO!!

Parker replied, "@KristinDavis Me too you! Heard the news? X."

And then left Davis us hanging with this: "@SJP Yyyeessssss…But I'm afraid to get TOO excited yet - You let me know when we can celebrate. XO."

So what did it all mean?! So far nothing has come to fruition on the Sex and the City 3 front aside from these mini-reunions. Perhaps we shouldn't be too surprised because Willie Garson, who played Stanford Blatch on HBO series and both movies, said he hadn't heard of anything.

"It's all over the internet today," he told E! News. "I have no idea and I'm not being coy. I have no idea."

But he was trying to find out more information. "I actually emailed young Ms. Parker and I haven't heard back yet," he said. "But what is going on?"

Parker actually tweeted Malkin later on, revealing that she ended up filling Garson in on everything she knew. "Oh we are all caught up via email X sj," she wrote.

Jennifer Hudson, who played Carrie's (Parker's) assistant in the first movie, also revealed that a third movie could be happening. "I think it might be [happening.] Somebody just came to me talking about that. So if it's in the talks, it might happen. So look out for your girl Louise from St. Louis."
