As Christian once told Cher Horowitz in Clueless, "Nice stems."

It looks like enough people have noticed Taylor Swift's legs, as well, as she has reportedly had them insured for a whopping $40 million! That's right—T.Swift's stems are now worth $40 million big ones.

Why? You might ask.

Well the "Style" crooner will soon be embarking on a world tour for her latest album, 1989, and wants to make sure that should anything happen to her legs that would prevent her from performing, she'll be a-OK. After proving she can pretty much do anything, whether it's singing, dancing or even strutting down the catwalk at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, she needed the reassurance that her enviable features are secure.

Although insuring body parts might sound odd, it's not uncommon in the celebrity world. Soccer stars David Beckham and Cristiano Ronaldo insured their legs (Beckham would receive $151 million) while Jennifer Lopez insured her booty for $27 million. Julia Roberts didn't insure her whole mouth but instead settled for protecting her smile...for a cool $30 million. (It is a gorgeous smile). And Mariah Carey reportedly received a $1 BILLION policy for her legs while under contract with Gillette.

While the "Shake it Off" singer's legs might be pretty important to her these days, nothing comes close to her relationships with her gal-pals. She recently opened up to The Telegraph about how much her friendships mean to her and why she's finally content with where she's at in life.

"The thing about my girlfriends right now is that none of them needs me for anything other than friendship," she said. "I love the fact that they are all passionate about their jobs, whatever their jobs are."

She added, "A lot of celebrity-type people have this group of people around them where their friends' main priority is them, and they feel comfortable with that dynamic. I don't feel comfortable with that dynamic."
