Jeremy Renner cracked on Jennifer Lopez's "globes." George Clooney gave a moving speech, as did Michael Keaton. And Tina Fey and Amy Poehler made everyone laugh—a lot.

Those are just some of the things you saw if you watched the Golden Globes last night.

But what was going on when the cameras weren't rolling? Here, I give you five things you didn't see on TV...

1. Power Couple: After Clooney received the Cecil B. DeMille Award for Lifetime Achievement, he was back at his table, where he and his wife Amal Clooney engaged in some rare PDA. They stole a few kisses as Amal played with the back of her hubby's hair and stroked the side of his face with her other hand.

2. Baby Faces: Robert Downey Jr.'s producer wife Susan Downey showed Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux photos of their new baby on her iPhone. "So cute," the Cake star gushed. Her fiancé pouted his lips and cooed, "Aww." (PS: I also saw a woman carrying an infant on the red carpet—huh?!)

3. Bathroom Break: Reese Witherspoon called over to Kate Hudson to tell her to meet her in the ladies' room. But when they got there, the two realized there was no way they'd get back to their seats before the end of the commercial break if they waited on the women's line. Instead, they hightailed it into the men's room. Walking out, they ran into Fifty Shades of Grey star Dakota Johnson, who pointed at her table to let them know where she was sitting.

4. Chat Pack: Hudson got on her knees (in her white Versace gown!) to talk to friends at a table toward the back of the room. Witherspoon went over to Aniston and Theroux to say hello. The Wild star gave a huge hug to Jake Gyllenhaal after talking with Robert Duvall. David Oyelowo headed for the House of Cards table to see Kate Mara. Fifty Shades of Grey star Jamie Dornan also came by to say hi to the actress. Oprah Winfrey gave Harrison Ford a big kiss hello before sharing some laughs with her Selma director Ava Duvernay.

5. High Temperatures: If some of the celebs looked a bit shiny on your TV, it's because they were sweating. The ballroom at the Beverly Hilton was unusually warm. "It's as hot as heck in here," Kristen Wiig said as Louis C.K. gushed over her and Bill Hader's bit on stage. Oyelowo helped Gone Girl star Rosamund Pike cool down by fanning her with their programs.

Eddie Redmayne was red in the face not because of the temps, but for the joy he had in picking up his first Globe. The Theory of Everything star was in tears when he returned to his table after winning the award, first hugging co-star Felicity Jones before practically jumping over the table to embrace his wife, Hannah Bagshawe, who kissed his cheek as he buried his face in her neck. Too sweet.
