Nicki Minaj had some big shoes to fill, but she did it. And she did it well.

The female rapper showed off her acting skills when she impersonated both Kim Kardashian and Beyoncé during her appearance on Saturday Night Live recently, and Minaj talked about taking on two big personalities on the popular variety show during her interview with the ladies of The Real (airing Friday).

The obvious question on everybody's mind—do you give Kim and/or Bey a heads up before spoofing them on television?!

"I always proofread and study what I'm gonna do. I would never do something that would be offensive to some people I like in the industry," Minaj explains in an exclusive sneak peek given to E! News, but admits one of the impressions did make her a bit nervous.

"I read it before and I loved it. I knew Beyoncé was gonna love hers. I didn't know about Kim and I didn't know if I could really nail Kim. You know what I mean? So I was like, oh God, why am I gonna do this? But the producers thought it was good. And the Beyoncé one, I knew I was gonna have a lot of fun with that one."

Nicki also talked about her time on SNL during a visit on Ellen.

"First of all, I don't know if you saw Nicki on Saturday Night Live. You were fantastic," Ellen DeGeneres told the star. "You did, she did impressions of Kim Kardashian and Beyoncé if you didn't see it. And I thought you did a really good job on both and especially Beyoncé. Did you hear from either of them?"

Minaj responded, "No," and started to giggle at her attempt at pulling off the Kim K. pout when looking at an image from the sketch.

"I thought you did a good job and I didn't think it was a slam to either of them I thought you were honest," Ellen added, to which Nicki simply said, "No, no because I love both of them. I love both of them!"
