RED ALERT: The opening scene of Sunday's The Walking Dead premiere is probably the most terrifying thing ever to air on television.

Ever. In the history. Of television.

If it isn't, whatever scene was worse has been permanently erased from memory. (Thank God for that!)

A you may recall, season four started out with Rick (Andew Lincoln) our core zombie-slaying friends captured by Terminus, the "refuge" they thought would be a peace-loving, kumbaya-singing spa, but ohhhhhhh how it isn't. The pace in the premiere is fierce, and you probably won't catch your breath for the entire hour.

To prep you, we went straight to the cast to talk about the remarkable adrenaline feat that is season five, and how anyone who thought TWD was boring last season will be eating those words. Along with some human entrails and a nice Chianti. (Shuuuudddeeerrr.)

We also got Norman Reedus' latest take on the slightly ridiculous (it is right?) "Could Daryl be gay?" debate (of course he could be—but it will probably never be answered, which is basically what executive producer Gale Anne Hurd said), whether Steven Yeun thinks Glenn will survive (since, SPOILER ALERT, it's rumored that we're meeting the big bad villain who offs him in the books), and more.

So....stop what you are doing and watch now! Above and below are our exclusive interviews with Andrew Lincoln, Norman Reedus, Danai Gurira, Lauren Cohan, and Steven Yeun!
