You don't have to wait for your lives to be over for a Dawson's Creek reunion after all!

James Van Der Beek and Michelle Williams came together Saturday evening at a holiday shindig hosted by Matt Damon in Los Angeles, and no shocker here, Dawson and Jen are just as adorable as ever. The former onscreen duo starred alongside Katie Holmes and Joshua Jackson in the beloved coming of age sitcom that captivated TV lovers for five years between 1998-2003.

For both James and Michelle, as well as Dawson's Creek diehards, this reunion was way past due. It's been a whopping 13 years since the actors were photographed publicly together! Emphasis on way past due.

And while hairstyles may have changed (never forget those early 2000s highlights courtesy of Katie) over the years, our desire for a Dawson's Creek reboot sure hasn't.

Holmes weighed in on the possibility of coming together with her castmates in 2015, but the potential appeared pretty dismal. "I don't know," she said in a Yahoo Style interview. "Does it work today? I don't want them to grow up. It's kind of like your parents, they never get out of their 50s. That's where they are."

But according to Williams, it's not as far-fetched as it may seem. "It's a fun thing to sort of imagine," the Oscar nominee mused on Today earlier this year. "I like imagining it. I would have to come back as a ghost, or put a lot of filters on the camera and I'll do flashback scenes."

Until then, we wait.
